Our digital session is focused on converters/printers, and their experiences in producing digital print for corrugated. We will have a lively panel discussion touching on successes and challenges. Come and participate in the Q&A and learn through real life experiences, across a range of actual printer solutions. Digital for corrugated is important, and continues to grow. “Lessons from the Past”

Boxmaker panelists will set the scene with stories of the challenges they’ve faced, the changes that have become permanent, those that were temporary, and the lessons learned over the past few years. 

Topics to be discussed will include:

  • Supply chain issues
  • Containerboard
  • Hiring and retention (pay and fringe benefit increases)
  • Picking and balancing the right team that can exist remotely as well as in the office/plant environment (employees working from home vs. those positions that cannot work from home)
  • Equipment
  • Safety Protocols

Supplier panelists will tell stories of what they’ve seen in various plants that have left an impression on them.  What did they do to proactively help their customers through the challenges of the past few years up to today?  

Topics to be discussed will include:

  • What were your takeaways from seeing what your customers did to adapt over the last two years?
  • Did you see an increase in purchasing thresholds to minimize in-plant visits?
  • How has that influenced any solutions that you are bringing to the marketplace?
  • How did you manage volatility in pricing and freight costs?What practices did you implement to help manage the volatility going forward?

  • How are you promoting your company differently now vs. five years to attract the younger generation of employees
  • Handling the transfer of knowledge from the previous generation to the new employees
